This session was so cool, not only because MacKenzie + Sean had some incredible ideas for a session, but Mackenzie is also my sister who is getting married in a year! While we won’t be the photographers at that wedding she did insist on me photographing her engagement session and I am so glad she did. Much like when I did her senior pictures, it is so cool to look through the camera and see how grown up she is and her awesome personality come through. It was even better getting to see her and Sean together and how much they love each other. I couldn’t be happier for them. As for the session, they knew that they wanted some really great portraits of them together, but then they also wanted some that were a little bit more crazy. They decided to do Holi, if you don’t know what that is they basically just wanted get a bunch of colored powders and throw them all over each other. Why not… what a great way to relieve some of the stress of wedding planning.
