When it rains it pours…
Well, it didn’t exactly pour, but we definitely saw a fair amount of rain. The sky’s were playing tricks on us all day. Was it going to be sunshiny and beautiful or a monster thunderstorm? Jamie just went with it. We went out for the first look, the plan was to take the gondola and meet at the top of the mountain. Zach and Alex went out in front of us. The gondola operator tried to rush Alex and Zach on the last gondola, but luckily they caught that it was the LAST gondola and skipped it. We definitely don’t want the groom to be stuck at the top of the mountain by himself. So, the bad weather that came in caused us to quickly change plans. Alex grabbed a spot near the gondola and waited. Jamie and I came shortly after, I ran ahead to check on where they were, if they were ready, etc… As Jamie started to come down to meet him, rain came down, wind was blowing. We had to change it up…again. We had Jamie duck into a local boutique while we scrambled to get Alex under an awning. At last… Jamie + Alex could enjoy each other.
Michelle’s Favorite :: (10th one down) The rain was very off and on all day, from nothing, to drizzling, to pretty decent rain. But, Jamie really wanted an outdoor ceremony. And it was beautiful. I love this image of everyone standing to watch the bride come down the aisle with their umbrellas open. Gorgeous!! And right before the announcement of Mr. & Mrs. … the rain stopped, the clouds parted, the sun shined, and their was a gorgeous rainbow. It couldn’t have played out better in a movie.
