So, it’s official. His name is Finley. Coda likes to call him Finley McLilly. We like to call him Fin. Holden, well, Holden still calls him Doggie or Six (that’s his name for everything). Ollie just points and grunts.
Zach recently took a trip to Oklahoma to do some commercial work for Morton Buildings and took Coda along for the road trip. One of the buildings he was scheduled to shoot was the Checotah Animal Shelter. After shooting, Zach and Coda had to go in and say hi to the puppies. Here is where they met Fin. Fin and his brothers and sisters were abandoned behind a Sonic and looking for a new home. Zach and Coda went on their way finishing up the rest of their work, but the dog stayed in both of their minds. Tuesday, June 12, on their way home, they decided to make a pit stop at the shelter and see Fin one last time. Coda took in his superhero book and sat down with Fin and read to him. He found a picture of Bat Dog and pointed to him and said, “See, that’s you… my sidekick!” After that, how could you leave him there? They packed him up in a crate, grabbed some food and water, and road tripped back home.

Uhm, I’m smitten! What an adorable puppy. And Fin seems to like to ham it up for the camera!
