It doesn’t always have to be Saturday night to have a great date night. One random Wednesday afternoon, we chose to have a happy hour date night. Yes, margaritas + a plate of tacos + great conversation with the one you love = amazing date night. We opted to go to The Cactus Wheel, downtown Louisville. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have $1.50 tacos during their happy hour anymore, but the nachos + green chile fries were so yummy and the margaritas were fabulous!
So, whether you are able to squeeze in a happy hour date in between work and picking up the kids or somewhere in the middle of the crazy wedding planning, just remember, it doesn’t have to be a fancy dinner to be a date night. You just have to follow a few good rules. 1) Talk about something that isn’t:: wedding plans, work, or kids 2) Have fun!
