“Mary, you have to meet Tom! You guys are going to get married.” This is where it started. A mutual friend, who was sure that Mary + Tom would hit it off. They met during a ski weekend in Aspen, and never turned back. They instantly hit it off. They spent the entire weekend skiing together and well, they both just knew. Just goes to prove that friends really do know what’s best for you! We were so excited when Tom and Mary contacted us about shooting their downtown Denver wedding this May, after meeting them both at Joslin + Ty’s wedding last July. I knew they would be awesome to work with, since Tom and I really bonded (he was the guy with my camera in this post). And, of course, they are totally awesome. When the idea of doing an engagement session in Breckenridge where they would actually be skiing came up, we were all totally game! Of course, I (Michelle) didn’t go up on the mountain, since I’ve only snowboarded ONCE in my entire life. But, Zach went up, the pro that he is, and got some amazing shots (and VIDEO, but more to come on that after the wedding).
